Career Background
Joanne has worked with children and young people of over 10 years. In this time Joanne has been a Registered Manager in a Residential setting, then Business Development Manager. Joanne has successfully completed her Level 3 Diploma in Children and young people's workforce and level 5 in Leadership and Management.
What you like about working in leaving care
Joanne enjoys making a positive difference in the young people lives. Joanne feels working with young people is incredibly rewarding as no two days are ever the same. Joanne also enjoys meeting and working with new people from different backgrounds, developing her the skills and abilities to improve the life of others.

Joanne is also passionate about the work she does, and her skills, experience and expertise allows her to offer the best possible support to the Northwest Leaving Care team. Joanne is passionate about making a positive difference in young people's life's, contributing and enabling them to reach the future goals.
