First Class Training

Once you have joined our amazing team at Northwest Leaving Care, you will receive a thorough induction and training package, which will include ongoing developmental opportunities to meet our high standards.

Getting Started…

All our staff complete a six-month probationary period, during which time they have the chance to undergo more training while immersing themselves in our policies and procedures. This ensures that you understand the ethos behind the standard of support we deliver.

Probation passed, you will continue to receive supportive supervision along with regular reviews with members of the senior support team who will always be there to offer you any additional support or guidance you may need. Then it’s your chance to go above and beyond by completing further training in a range of subjects:

  • Safeguarding Level 5 (Senior Roles)
  • Level 4 Workforce diploma in Residential Care
  • Mental Health Issues
  • Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Senior Roles)
  • Supervision and Appraisal (Senior Roles)
  • Drug and Addiction
